Seagull Foods is the food retail and wholesale arm of Seagull Group Pvt Ltd, one of the Maldives' established trading conglomerates. Founded in 1995, the company built its reputation on bringing fresh agricultural produce from the group's own Maafahi farm in Haa Alifu Atoll — one of the largest commercial agricultural operations in the country, utilising organic composting and hydroponics — to customers in Malé within a day of harvest. The farm also produces locally-caught tuna paste (Rihaakuru), smoked and dried fish, and runs a goat farm and a supply ferry to the capital. Alongside its local sourcing, Seagull Foods imports high-quality processed and packaged goods directly from Australian and international manufacturers, with its branded range including Parmalat, Paul's Milk, Golden Circle juices, Sanitarium (including Weet-Bix), Bundaberg ginger beer, Carmen muesli, Orgran, Mountain Fresh, and Bella Italia. Its full product portfolio spans dairy, beverages, cereals, pasta, sauces, gluten-free and kids' food lines, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and seafood. Seagull Foods operates two retail outlets in Malé — the original on Ameenee Magu and a second opened in 2007 on Chaandhanee Magu — and has been a long-standing supplier to Maldivian resorts. General Manager Masood Mohamed oversees operations that span import, wholesale distribution, and direct retail.
