Cactus Hulhumale

This was the first time I ever bought flowers in Hulhumalé, and I went with my wife. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The girl at the counter was very rude, and I have never encountered such poor customer service anywhere in my life. What should have been a pleasant moment turned into a negative experience. Will never buy insha Allah

One Star. Extremely Disappointed. If you’re looking to surprise someone with a thoughtful gift or bouquet, do NOT use Cactus in Hulhumalé. Their service is extremely unprofessional. Not only did they fail to deliver on time (they said “on the way” for hours) since 6:00 pm they were saying they sending and at last at 11:00 they said they cant deliver cause there was no one and wait till next day 2:00 pm they will deliver. And they also refused to deliver the gift to the recipient’s door. Instead, they called and told them to come downstairs—totally defeating the purpose of a surprise delivery. I understand that food delivery riders may not go upstairs post-COVID, but this is a gift delivery service, not a pizza drop-off. The recipient should not have to chase down their own surprise. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing for both me and the person who wanted to give me a surprise Will never use again—and I don’t recommend anyone else does either. And here is how they messaged: in Caps lock they replied the next day.

Poor customer service. I asked to make a bouquet and the flowers were handled extremely poorly by the female sales person. When my partner mentioned that one of the stems broke, the sales girl accepted that she broke it, but then proceeded to argue that it would anyway be broken, bla, bla. Later when I checked almost all the stems were broken and handling was done very poorly. The management needs to improve this. The flowers were great and the collection was favourable.
